Ana is an Australian-registered foreign lawyer with more than 10 years of legal experience across Australia and overseas. At Rose Legal, Ana plays a key role in the firm’s costs and litigation practice. Her work includes legal costs assessments, preparation and review of bills of costs, and management of costs assessment and taxation processes, ensuring matters are prepared accurately and in accordance with procedural requirements. She also prepares complex court documentation and manages procedural compliance in litigation matters. She regularly liaises with clients and solicitors and manages procedural steps in costs and litigation matters across New South Wales, Victoria, and other Australian jurisdictions. Based across the firm’s Sydney and Melbourne offices, Ana is known for her methodical approach, strong communication skills, and close attention to detail, which she applies to managing complex costs files. Before joining Rose Legal, Ana practised at one of Ecuador’s most prominent law firms, providing strategic legal advice and representation in dispute resolution and litigation, particularly in employment law, including both administrative and judicial proceedings. Ana speaks both Spanish and English and brings a bilingual perspective to her work, enabling her to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues across cultures. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and guiding clients through legal processes with clarity, professionalism, and confidence. Ana holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Universidad de las Américas in Quito, Ecuador, together with a Diploma in Labour Law. She is currently advancing her legal career in Australia and remains committed to ongoing professional development and expanding her expertise in litigation and legal costs. Outside the office, Ana enjoys long-distance running, playing tennis, following Formula 1, and spending time with her family, friends, and her chocolate Labrador, Chulpi.
