Katie focuses on costs disputes in New South Wales, including both solicitor/client and party/party assessments. Katie has acted in legal costs disputes flowing from various areas of law including criminal law, defamation, professional negligence and contested estates.

Before joining the firm, Katie worked at a commercial law practice, specialising in employment law and commercial transactions. She built a keen eye for detail in legal disputes which assists her in preparing Bills of Costs.
Key achievements include:

– Drafting a bill for taxation on behalf of Amazon Inc and other Defendants in a successfully defended Federal Court proceeding.

– Acting on behalf of a farmer from rural NSW who suffered floods, drought and stolen livestock, in recovering legal costs on his behalf.

Outside of work, Katie is an avid traveller who enjoys learning about different cultures from around the world. In her spare time, Katie enjoys exploring Sydney’s food-scene and catching up with friends.
